SINGING FROM THE BOOK
Singing from the book (super librum cantare), during the Renaissance, meant adding one or more voices to a written melody while singing. In this workshop, we will explore, through improvisation, different models of counterpoint from the 15th and 16th centuries, belonging to 3 categories :
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PROGRAMME: CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL
The course is organised into two level groups, which will sometimes work separately and sometimes together.
To choose the right level for you, check here to see the required skills and the programme for level 2 and level 3. The course is organised in such a way that, if necessary, you can move from one level to another during the course.

ACCOMMODATION
Choice of:
• Room with 2, 3 or 4 beds
• Room with 1 bed
• Camping on the monastery grounds
Bed linen is provided, but not towels.

MEALS
Meals are prepared by the monastery kitchen, which can accommodate special dietary requirements as far as possible.
RATES
Meals only: €24.50 per meal
Full board:
• €420 - Meals + camping on the monastery grounds
• €470 - Meals + room with 2, 3 or 4 beds
• €590 - Meals + room with 1 bed
